To bring brewers to Southern Colorado so they can see the hidden gem of the San Luis Valley.

To revive a tradition of Smokey Ales and Lagers.

To create a world class competition and to participate in the renaissance of beer.

I am a homebrewer, can I enter this competition?

No. (not yet)

Do I have to be present at the awards ceremony to win?

No.

The award ceremony will be held during Colorado Malting Company's Gemütlichkeit on August 12, 2017.  Due to the remote location, brewers do not have to be present to win.  But, if you are present, you will be a celebrity for the evening at the party.  Attendance is highly recommended as something special awaits all winners. - Cheers
